Mexican Pointy Boots are somehow not a joke

I made this for my buddy Fidel over at Tu Vez because I honestly don’t know anyone else that knows about the pointy boots of the Chuntaritos (botas picudas). They are EPIC. I never thought I’d see a fashion movement that made the Jersey Shore ‘tards look tame. “Hey man, I want some boots that look like elf shoes. But I want them to stick out really far. Like, at least 4 feet.”

Update. I did some Googling. Jay Angeles designed these (his tumblr). He also has a nice Zelda (Link) design. AND, another Deviantart user (kaycunana) has some really similar HP kicks that I like.

Neptunic Sharksuit

Holy medieval times Batman! Check out the head-to-toe protection on these bad boys. Wikipedia tells me the sharksuit was developed by shark-expert Jeremiah Sullivan in the late 70s. Jeremiah has continued to refine his technology, no doubt concerned about the upcoming zombie wars. His company Neptunic will certainly be a hot-spot for Z-day looting. The Neptunic suit I’m liking is the C Suit.

#1 Bad Dude?

The “C” stands for “component” as in modular. Which means you can roll with different variants should the situation dictate. Want to shed some weight and move a bit quieter? Use just the sleeves. On cleanup patrol and worried about decapitated or legless ghouls? Throw on those stylin’ chainmail pants. Brilliant.

Look, I know it looks a little goofy and it costs $23,000. But if you’re friends laugh at you, you can tell them A.) it was featured in New York’s MOMA, and B.) Check this sultry vixen:

Big ups to Uncrate (and the Crozz) for bringing this shirt to my attention. It’s a winner no matter what circle you run in, right down to the subtle 3-color printing. Could it have been 2 color? Sure. But Threadless is all F it. Bla-dow! Little purple highlighting for that ass. I’m a big fan. And if you buy it, tell ‘em the Crozz sent you (don’t actually do that–they’ll look at you like you’re crazy).
