Remember when I said that I thought Inception wasn’t imaginative enough? This isn’t exactly what I had in mind. But holy shit. Zack Snyder has gone bat shit insane and tried to put every cool thing into one movie.

• Demon Samurai (with Gatling gun!)
• WWII bombers
• Jamie Chung (with lollipop!)
• Steam punk
• 1920′s gangsters
• Dragons
• Showgirls
• Blimps
• Steam trains
• Robots
• Chicks with assault rifles
• Other planets visible in the sky

I’m still not sure I’m able to process it all. It could all end up being a hot mess, and truth be told the trailer tries to cram too much in and the effects on some of the shots look dodgy, but Snyder’s the man. I love his Dawn of the Dead (though not as much as the original), I love 300, and I like Watchmen. Oh, and the trailer for his animated owl movie, Legend of the Guardians—which should be lame kiddy shit—looks kind of rad.
