Trailer Spotlight: Badass Owls?

After watching the trailer for Legends of the Guardians (based on a YA book series called Guardians of Ga’Hoole) I have a few thoughts:

This movie is movie is going to be cliche and over-sentimental.
I don’t care because I really like this trailer.
30 Seconds to Mars drives me nuts but I think their song “Kings and Queens” works really well here.
How awesome is the slow-mo rain shot?
I miss The Secret of Nimh and non-Disney animation (ie Don Bluth).
