Saw this on Gizmodo yesterday. It’s a pinball machine with just two displays instead of the table area and attached display. How awesome is that? I’d like to see the base be a little thinner (why not show off that sweet tech), but I think it’s awesome regardless. Here it is in the Nike store in Barcelon with a nice soccer theme:
This table was made by Every-ware, a French company that, from what I can tell, specializes in one-off interactive video and game installations as advertising promo units.
Theoretically it wouldn’t be too hard to do this yourself at home. Here’s a homebrew HD-display pinball table made by a dude over on the Hyperspin forums:
